of the Bureau of Food and Drug Safety; 2nd Career: FDA, currently the SW
Region Food and Drug Director; Married to Cheryl "Missy" Matthews (HHS
'66), two daughters, Staci and Carri; Have enjoyed attending HHS
reunions (1965 and '66) and renewing old friendships. I feel fortunate
to have been able to maintain many close relationships for more than
forty years. I now look forward to retiring in the next year or so to
the hill country where I plan to spend more time on hobbies and
traveling.

I have great memories of high school, and I go to each of the
reunions that are scheduled. It's always fun to see and talk to all
of those friends from so long ago; One of my favorite memories was a
football game (I think it was 1963...maybe 1964) when Brackenridge
High with Wondrous Warren McVea came to call at Harlandale Stadium.
I was there...it was packed...we lost...but McVea put on a running
show I remember to this day; If any of my classmates remember me and
would like to respond, please do. I remember Vaughan, Mike, Tommy,
Bradley, Alan, Dennis...and Rachel, Elizabeth, Norma, Susan...I've
left all of the last names off on purpose!
